I've been following the Susan and Donald Schaefer case from Clearwater, and I just can't stop thinking about the ripple effect this tragedy must have had on their community. It's so distressing to imagine what the family is going through after losing both Susan and Donald in such a sudden and violent manner. I read some comments from their neighbors, and it sounds like the couple kept to themselves, but everyone agreed they seemed friendly in passing. I think what really haunts me is the echo of unanswered questions—like what was going on behind closed doors that none of us could see? I hope the family is finding some sort of support to help them navigate through this. It's a heavy thought to know that those who might know the most about the "why" are no longer here to give us answers.
