I've been thinking about Kelly's murder, and one thing that's really standing out to me is how her relationship with Ledesma seemed so known to people around them. It's baffling that someone so young and full of life could end up entwined with someone much older and already married. Her family tried to help, but it's like Ledesma had this hold over her, something we see way too often with cases involving controlling partners. Can’t help but feel for Kelly's family—they must have been worried sick about her well-being. I hope they find some justice and peace, knowing so many people are thinking of them and honoring Kelly’s memory. She deserved so much more.
