I'm still trying to process the terrible tragedy that took Kandace Blaine Dunn from this world. It's haunting to think about the fear she must have felt in those final moments, especially with her little ones nearby. As a mother myself, I can't even begin to imagine the bravery it must have taken to face such danger. The fact that Ross Littlewolf, someone she once must have trusted, was behind this crime is just horrifying. It goes to show how important it is to support victims of domestic violence and ensure they have the resources to seek help safely. My thoughts are with her children—they deserve a community’s love and protection growing up after experiencing something so traumatic.

I’ve been following the case of Kandace Blaine Dunn, and something that really sticks with me is how brave the witnesses in the house must have been. Imagine being threatened by someone with a firearm and then being told to look after the kids after such a horrific act. They likely saved Kandace's children from even more trauma by staying calm in an unimaginably terrifying situation. It's haunting to think of the lasting effects this might have on them.
