I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Cabrie's family and friends — I can't even begin to fathom what they're going through right now. As we try to piece together what happened that night, I'm curious about the community's response to such violence. There were multiple incidents that weekend, not just Cabrie's murder. Do any local residents have insights into how the neighborhood has reacted or changed since then? Are there community efforts or conversations happening to try and address what's been going on? It's just so upsetting to think about all this violence happening so close to home for some people, and I wonder if there are initiatives aimed at bringing peace and healing to those affected.
