Has anyone else been wondering about the strange detail of that message on the wall? "Allahu Akbar" written in blood just raises so many questions for me. It's a phrase often associated with Islam, and knowing that Komel was Muslim makes it seem like it might have been David's way of trying to deflect attention or cause some confusion. It feels like a desperate and disturbing attempt to distort the narrative.
What really strikes me is how well-liked and respected Komel was in her community. Her friends and family spoke so highly of her, and it breaks my heart to think of how her faith was possibly manipulated in this way. It's so important to remember the victims as they were—loving and vibrant individuals—rather than the horrific circumstances of their deaths.
I know the police have closed the case, but I just can't shake the feeling that there's more beneath the surface here. Anyone have any thoughts or insight into this part of the case?
