I've been following this case, and my heart aches for Lanaea Ann Harrison and her loved ones. I've been thinking a lot about the way neighbors and acquaintances described Milo Leistiko as "regular" and a "nice individual." It just goes to show how appearances can be so deceiving and how the most unthinkable actions can lurk beneath the surface. It makes me wonder if there were any subtle signs or red flags that might have been overlooked. I can't imagine the kind of turmoil that must have been present for such a horrific outcome. It just leaves me feeling very unsettled thinking about how much we truly know the people around us, and what might be happening behind closed doors. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
