Does anyone else find it so haunting that Robert "Bob" Johnson was not only a talented musician but was out there actively trying to help young musicians? It seems like he had such a profound impact on the community in Winona. I have a friend who spent time at EB's Corner jamming with Bob, and she always talked about how he was willing to lend his own instruments to those who couldn't afford them just so they could play. It’s such a senseless loss—his legacy really speaks to the kind of person he was. I hope his family is finding some comfort in knowing how many lives he touched. And directing memorials to the school music programs is such a fitting tribute to what he stood for. How is everyone processing this? It must be a difficult time for the local music scene.
