Hey everyone, I've been following Lynnaya's case for a while now, and something that's really sticking in my mind is how much this has impacted her school and the other kids there. I've read about how close-knit Faribault Lutheran School is, and I can't even imagine the kind of conversations and healing the teachers and students are going through. Children at that age form such tight bonds, and having their friend taken away in such an unexplained manner must be terrifying and confusing. It's vital we keep in mind how these tragedies affect not just the immediate family but also the peers who grew up alongside Naya. The school probably has counselors and community support in place, but it makes me wonder what more can be done to help these kids process their grief and feel safe. If anyone has insight or more information about how the school has been handling this or how the community is supporting the students, please share. It’s so important that we continue to think of all those who's lives were touched by Naya. Hoping for answers soon.
