Victor's disappearance has really stuck with me, especially because of the larger context around missing Indigenous people that often seems overlooked. While there hasn't been much progress since January 2020, I'm curious about how the community response has been. Are there any local initiatives or groups that have been set up to keep Elmer's case in the spotlight? These grassroots efforts can sometimes make all the difference in keeping pressure on the authorities and ensuring the case doesn't go cold. If anyone's from around Bloomfield or knows more about any meetups or memorials, please share. It would be great to get involved or help spread the word.
