Hey everyone, I found it particularly moving to read through Trejon Sands' social media, seeing glimpses of the life he lived and the things he was passionate about. It's always incredibly sad to think about how someone with interests and joys, just like any of us, can have their life suddenly and violently cut short. It made me wonder if the seemingly random nature of interests like music can sometimes connect us to the broader narrative of a person's life, even in a tragic context. Did Trejon ever go to concerts or have any connections in the music world that might provide some insight? For those who live around the 2900 block of S. Grand Avenue, I hope you’re holding up okay. This kind of violence can really shake up a community. My thoughts are with his friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.
