I’ve been following the Carl Anthony Dobbs Jr. case closely and can’t stop thinking about the role that violence plays in so many lives. It's deeply senseless. In reading about the events inside Johnny Baby’s bar, I can’t help but wonder about the moment Anderson and Dobbs interacted. Those brief moments before things turned tragic are so significant. What could have possibly transpired between them? I keep thinking about Carl’s family and how they must be grappling with so many questions on top of their grief. The community emphasis on ending such senseless acts of violence is incredibly important. I hope some understanding can be reached about the motive, so it doesn't feel like just another random act of violence. Sending all the strength and love to those who knew Carl.
