Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the mental state that Rodney Velho might have been in during the incident that led to Kevin Logan Jr.'s tragic death. It's so chilling to consider how a person's perception of threat can escalate things to such a horrific point. Velho mentioned that both men talked about having guns, and even though he didn't see Kevin with a weapon, he assumed the worst. It's shocking how fear and assumptions can override rational thought in a heated moment. I'm trying to understand what was going through Velho's mind. Could things have been different if he'd stopped to cool down, or if there had been someone to mediate? It's distressing to see how far something can go when emotions run high and there aren't proper coping mechanisms in place. This case is another stark illustration of how quickly things can spiral out of control—and the consequences are just so devastating. My heart goes out to Kevin's family, especially his kids. No one should have to grow up without a father, especially not because of something that could potentially have been avoided. And for everyone involved, this situation just screams of the need for better emotional support systems and conflict resolution strategies. Hope everyone in this community is taking care of their mental health and finding ways to discuss and resolve conflicts before they escalate. Stay safe, folks. ---
