It's been over two years since the tragic loss of Glenn Danen Smith, and while justice has been served with Hunter's conviction, I can't stop thinking about the devastating impact this has had on Glenn's family and friends. It's clear that Glenn was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the ripple effect of that night's chaos is unimaginable. I read somewhere that they found multiple types of shell casings at the scene. Does anyone else find it odd that so many shots were fired in a public spot like that? It just makes you wonder what really escalated things to such a violent level. Sending love and strength to Glenn’s loved ones as they continue to navigate this unimaginable loss.
It's tough to wrap my head around the emotions Glenn's family must be feeling with this outcome. One detail that I can't stop thinking about is those 12 .45-caliber casings found near the southwest corner of the bar. I mean, it really paints a picture of chaos that night. Who else might have been involved, or were those shots all from Hunter? It just raises so many questions about what was unfolding in that parking lot before and during the tragic incident.
And the fact that his friend was right there, trying to help and likely witnessing everything, must be unimaginable. Being so close yet feeling helpless in the moment is a situation I wouldn't wish upon anybody. I hope the family can find some solace and that more answers come to light.
