I came across some information about Erick Stevens' case and felt compelled to share my thoughts here. It's been really distressing to think about such a young life being cut short in such a senseless way. My heart goes out to Erick's family and friends who have to navigate through this painful time. This may seem like a small detail, but I can't shake the thought of this happening in the Frogtown neighborhood. It's a place I associate with community and resilience. It's sad how violence can hit anywhere and impact the very essence of our communities. I'm trying to understand where this violence comes from. At 20 years old, Tisen Doverspike-Wiggins is not much younger than Erick was. What pushes someone to such extremes at such a young age? I hope the ongoing investigation sheds light on the circumstances and provides some closure and understanding for everyone affected. Stay safe out there, everyone.
