Hi everyone, I’ve been following Douglas Waterman’s case and something about the location where his car was found has really stuck with me. I’m curious about the tribal trust land near the thermal pond. Does anyone know if there’s any significance to that area, especially in relation to missing persons? Is it a known spot for anything unusual, or could it just be a coincidence that his vehicle was found there? The fact that his cell phone was off and his bank accounts haven’t been touched makes me wonder if the area itself has clues that might have been overlooked. Also, does anyone here have any insights about searches conducted on tribal lands, and if there are protocols that might differ from regular law enforcement searches? Just trying to gather more context that might shine a light on this mysterious case. Any thoughts or info would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, Have any of you heard any updates about the car that Douglas Waterman was driving before he vanished? I'm curious because it seems odd that it was found abandoned on tribal trust land near a thermal pond. Did anyone ever find out if the area around that thermal pond was searched thoroughly or if there were any signs or clues there? I know that sometimes the location where a person or their belongings are found can tell us a lot more than we realize at first. It's just strange to me that nearly everything about his financials and calls went dark after he disappeared. If he was potentially heading somewhere he felt comfortable or with someone he trusted, wouldn’t there be some kind of evidence or indication of what those plans were? Please share any insights if you have them. It's so perplexing when someone seems to vanish without a trace, and I’m hoping we can piece together anything that might lead to a break in the case. Thanks!
