It's hard to comprehend such a senseless act of violence happening to someone so young and full of potential. Sunrise Badbear Wade's life was only just beginning, and now, we've lost another precious soul to gun violence. I can't stop thinking about her family—what they must be going through with so many questions remaining unanswered. I read that she was from Green Bay but ended up in Minneapolis when this tragedy struck. I wonder if anyone knows why Sunrise might have been in that particular area? Was she visiting friends, or did she have some other reason for being there? It's those little details that could help piece together the larger puzzle of that night. Even the seemingly insignificant facts might lead to a breakthrough. Reflecting on how this has impacted the community just makes me more determined to keep discussing her story. It’s so vital to keep Sunrise’s name out there in hopes that someone comes forward with information. My heart goes out to each of her loved ones who are undoubtedly facing an unimaginable loss. Let's hope that justice will soon follow in her name.
