Did anyone else follow the angle involving the intervention by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison in this case? It's not often we see state-level officials step in like this, but it felt like an acknowledgment of how serious and tragic this situation was. The initial plea deal for Kamara sparked a lot of distress in the community. I can’t imagine how Zaria's family felt hearing about a two-year sentence for someone involved in her murder. This intervention seemed to shift the course of justice to reflect the gravity of the crime. It’s important to seek justice for Zaria and support the family through such a deeply painful time. Thoughts?
