I keep thinking about how close the bond must have been between Dr. Corporon and his grandson, Reat. Spending time together at the Jewish Community Center on that day reminds me of the precious memories grandparents and grandchildren share. It's gut-wrenching to know that their beautiful day was shattered by such senseless violence. The lasting impact on Dr. Corporon's family must be profound. Losing both a father and a young son to such a hateful act is unimaginable. My heart goes out to them as they continue to navigate life without these two incredible souls. I hope the community is surrounding them with love and support as they confront each day anew.

Has anyone else been following the trial proceedings closely? I’ve been reading through some of the court transcripts, and it’s chilling to see the lack of remorse Frazier Glenn Miller Jr. showed throughout the entire process. The families had to sit through not only the loss of their loved ones but also witness his continued hatred. It's unfathomable how someone can hold such beliefs and act on them to such a devastating degree. My heart truly goes out to the Corporon, Underwood, and LaManno families. I hope the conviction and sentence at least offer a measure of peace as they navigate life without their loved ones. It’s a painful reminder of the importance of opposing hate in all its forms. Anyone attending the memorial services for the victims, or is there a community event planned in their memory?
