Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Preston Mobley case and something has been sticking out to me. I’ve read that he was deeply involved with the Wichita Fire Explorers and was passionate about helping others in his community. It makes me wonder if his involvement with these programs could have put him in any tricky or dangerous situations. I know they sometimes have to engage in scenarios or trainings that might expose them to risks that the rest of us might not be aware of. Does anyone have any insights on what typical activities these Fire Explorers would be involved in, or if there might have been anything unusual during that time period? It’s just so hard to reconcile how someone so dedicated to making the world safer could meet such an untimely end. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew him.
