Has anyone else been thinking about the cultural impact of Clyde Cannon's tragic death on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation? Losing someone like Clyde, who was so deeply connected to his heritage, must have left a void not only in his immediate circle but within the tribe as well. It's really important to acknowledge the ripple effects such tragedies have on indigenous communities. They often take a communal approach to grieving and support, which is both beautiful and profound. I hope the Nation has found some path toward healing since Clyde's passing. Anyone know if there have been any gatherings or ceremonies held in his honor? I'd love to learn more about how they have chosen to honor his memory and support each other through this.
