I just can't stop thinking about Camrah's family and what they must be going through. Losing a loved one is devastating enough, but I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing both a daughter and an unborn grandchild in such a tragic way. It's been years, and it feels so unfair that there hasn't been any closure.
There's this unshakeable feeling of frustration knowing that no arrests have been made, even though we believe there must be someone out there who knows something. I really hope that the community continues to push for answers. Camrah and her family deserve justice, and it's important that we keep talking about this case. Reminding others and sharing whatever information we might have could be the key to finding out the truth.
My thoughts are with Robert Trotter and Karen Hidalgo. I hope one day soon, they get the answers they so desperately need.
I was reading up on the case of Camrah Trotter and her family recently and just can’t stop thinking about the neighborhood where this happened. I mean, it was literally at the Fairlawn Green Apartments—an everyday place where people are just living their lives, kids playing outside, folks going to work. It's devastatingly sad to think such violence can strike right in our own backyards.
From what I know, the community feels such a heavy loss. I just can’t imagine what Camrah’s parents are still going through—losing their daughter and grandchild in this senseless tragedy. It just breaks my heart thinking about Ariyah’s life cut short before it even began. Why hasn't anyone come forward with solid info? It's frustrating to see a case so cold when there must be people out there who know something.
If you live nearby or have connections there, what’s the vibe months and years after it happened? Do people still talk about it? Are there any new efforts from the community to advocate for Camrah, Ariyah, and Dominique? I hope that with everyone’s continued voices, we can bring some justice to their families.
