Has anyone else noticed that Shikinah Johnson’s case doesn’t seem to have many updates over the years? I was looking through old cases on NamUs and saw hers still listed. It baffles me that even in today’s age of digital footprints and social media, some disappearances still remain such mysteries.
Shikinah went missing on February 29, 2020, and it’s like she just vanished without a trace. Given that she left voluntarily, I wonder if there’s something deeper that law enforcement knows but hasn’t shared with the public yet. Do we know if there were any personal issues or circumstances around the time she disappeared? I read in one article that cases involving teens can sometimes be especially challenging because of the possibility of running away, but yet her family seems to believe otherwise.
Whenever I see her photo, I can't help but hope that there’s someone out there with a piece of information that can finally help bring Shikinah home. It would mean so much to see progress in this case and give her family some much-needed answers.
