I can't get this haunting story out of my mind. Losing a second child to gun violence in less than a year is a burden nobody should have to bear. I keep thinking about the impact on Brandon's mom. She's endured the unimaginable having lost both Brandon and Brannae. The community's cycle of violence and retribution seems like a nightmare with no end. There's a clear distrust between residents and law enforcement, which only makes finding solutions more difficult. Does anyone know of any community programs or leaders working to bridge that gap? We need something to help foster cooperation and hopefully prevent more senseless tragedies. My heart is with the families who've been torn apart by these horrific events.
