Does anyone else find the timing of the arrest on September 16 curious? Just three weeks before the murder-suicide, Randy was arrested for some pretty serious charges, yet he was somehow out and about. How did this happen with his history of violence and an active protection order against him? I'm not placing blame but seeking understanding of how these systems work—or unfortunately, don’t work. It's so unsettling to think Kristin and her kids still weren’t safe, despite taking the right legal steps. My heart goes out to her family, especially her children. No family should have to endure this.

I can't stop thinking about how the system failed Kristin and her family. It's so frustrating knowing she had a protection order, yet Randy was still such a threat. It must have been incredibly terrifying for her to live with that constant fear. The whole situation really makes me question how effective these orders are if they couldn't protect Kristin when she needed it most. It’s heartbreaking to think that her trying to keep her children safe and just retrieve their belongings ended in such tragedy. I'm also worried about her kids. Losing their mom in such a horrific way will have lasting effects on them. The community needs to come together to support them through this incredibly difficult time. Wishing peace and strength to everyone who loved Kristin. She deserved so much better, and it’s unimaginable what her family is going through right now.
