I keep thinking about the impact this case has had on the community and how young all of those involved were. To have lost Donnell C. Preston at just 21, along with Velik and Trevon so senselessly, it's devastating. Their families must be going through unimaginable pain right now. I hope they have a strong support system and know that others out here are keeping them in our thoughts.
It's been a relief to hear that there's been a suspect charged, but I can't help but wonder if there are more people involved that haven’t been apprehended yet. The fact that the authorities haven't disclosed further information has me anxious about potential dangers still out there. If anyone knows something and is afraid to come forward, please think about the closure that it could bring to those grieving this loss. Justice is important, not just for the families, but for the safety of everyone in the community too.
