Has anyone else been following the security issues at Terrace Pointe Apartments? It's completely devastating what happened to Regina Hill. She was such a vibrant person taken away too soon. From what I've read, there were concerns about security in that area even before Regina's tragic death.
I've been thinking a lot about what can be done to actually make apartment complexes safer. It's infuriating that Marcus Johnson managed to have illegal firearms despite a criminal past. How did he have access to so many weapons found in his home? This kind of violence should not be normalized, and it worries me how frequent these events seem to happen.
For Regina's family, those unfulfilled promises of better safety measures must be incredibly hard to process right now. I hope the community actions following her death bring some real change, so no other family has to go through the same pain. Thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
