Did anyone else hear about the community rally that took place in Galewood Park just last week to honor Keith Sutton? It was really touching to see the neighborhood come together to remember him and stand against the senseless violence that took his life. I wasn't able to attend, but a friend of mine went and said it was a powerful moment of unity, with people of all ages coming together to pay their respects and call for change. Keith's story is such a tragic reminder of how deeply gun violence impacts families and communities left behind. It's haunting to think about how he was in the park, just going about his day, and everything changed in a matter of moments. I hope that events like these can foster some healing for his loved ones and push for real transformation in how we address violence in our neighborhoods. If anyone has any details or thoughts from the rally, I'd love to hear more about how it all went.

Did anyone attend the candlelight vigil held for Keith Sutton? I read that the community in Galewood Park came together shortly after his passing to honor his memory. It's so touching to see that even in such a large city, people can come together to support one another during times of tragedy. I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, knowing Keith fought so hard for his life after the shooting. It's unbelievably sad to think about all the potential that was taken away from him. I hope events like the vigil bring some comfort to those who loved Keith and maybe even inspire more awareness and action against the violence that's tragically all too common in Chicago. If anyone was there, I'd love to hear about how the community responded.
