Keith Sutton, aged 24, was shot and killed on October 16, 2013, in Chicago, Illinois. The shooting took place earlier on June 2, 2013, in Galewood Park, located in the Austin neighborhood on the city's West Side. According to reports, Craig Bryan, 23, of Oak Park, followed Sutton through the park around 10 a.m. before shooting him in the head and back. Sutton fought for his life for months, succumbing to his injuries on October 16, while receiving care at Westlake Community Hospital hospice.
