The capture of Malcom Odom is such a relief for the Parsons community, but it must be a bittersweet moment for Levi Kendricks' family. I can't imagine the pain they’re enduring right now. It’s horrifying to think about how someone with a felony warrant was roaming free to commit such a tragic act. I’m grateful for the swift response from the local law enforcement and the citizens who stepped up to help. The way they came together to track down Odom shows the strength and determination of a community that refuses to live in fear. I hope this kind of collective effort sends a strong message to those who choose violence over peace. Levi's family deserves justice, and while this arrest is a step in the right direction, it’s just the beginning of a long road ahead. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew and loved Levi.
