Hi everyone, I've been following this case closely and my heart goes out to Keith Gaylord Jr.'s family and friends as they navigate this extremely difficult time. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. What's been on my mind is the second suspect, Dujontez Jaimandre Jerome Owens. It's known that he had a criminal background and was on parole. This raises some questions for me. How was he able to obtain a weapon while on parole? Is there a systemic issue here with monitoring parolees, especially those with past firearm offenses? I feel like there might be more going on with how parolees are tracked when it comes to weapons charges, and Keith’s tragic death could be a sign of gaps in that system. I really hope the authorities are taking a hard look at these aspects of the case, not only to bring justice for Keith but also to prevent similar incidents in the future. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has more information on how these laws are enforced. Stay safe and kind to one another.
