Has anyone else been looking into the mental health support systems in place for retired military personnel involved in this tragic case? It’s just so troubling to hear that the suspect was described as mentally deranged. I'm really wondering if there were warning signs that were missed or not addressed properly. It's heartbreaking to see a situation escalate to this point, leading to Officer Forney losing his life. Officer Forney seemed like such a dedicated individual, and I can't help but think that better mental health resources might have prevented this tragedy. Does anyone know if there have been any changes or improvements to these systems since this incident? My heart goes out to his family and the community still dealing with this loss.
