I've been digging around trying to piece together some details about this case, and something's been bothering me about Shaquita Bell's disappearance. With Michael Eric Dickerson's violent history, it seems like her vanishing just before she was supposed to testify is more than just a tragic coincidence. I can't help but wonder how this all went down and if there were any signs or warnings that went unnoticed—or perhaps were ignored. Her family and friends must have gone through such a terrible time not knowing what happened to her for so long. It's unsettling that a person could just disappear like that, and even more so that her case had to rely on a confession to find some semblance of justice.
