I've been following the William James Carter, Jr. case and have been thinking a lot about the police response time. From what I've gathered, it was a substantial period between when neighbors reported hearing disturbances and when officers actually arrived on the scene. Does anyone else feel like this might have impacted the investigation, or even the chance to apprehend the suspect sooner? It's really concerning to think there might have been opportunities to provide William with help earlier. I just can't imagine what his family must be going through, knowing that a faster response might have changed things. Would love to hear your thoughts or insights if you have any.

Has anyone else been following the details coming out about the surveillance footage around that neighborhood? I read that the police are combing through hours of tapes from nearby businesses and traffic cams. Given how close the area is to major roads, it seems like they're hoping for something substantial to surface. It's tough to imagine how William's family feels right now, knowing that answers might be just frames away on some video. Hoping for a break in the case soon so they can have some part of this ordeal resolved. Anyone here with insights on how effective these video investigations can be?

It seems out of place, considering the neighborhood had a reputation for being vigilant about security. I wonder if anyone else has information on whether William usually kept his doors locked or if there are any neighborhood watch groups that might have footage from that night.
