I’ve been following the case of Wesley West’s murder and I find it so upsetting that there hasn’t been much movement. I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the kind of impact neighborhood dynamics might have on witness cooperation. Does anyone know if there's a history of people in the 13th Place area being hesitant to come forward in other cases? I’ve read that the community did get some outreach from the police, but maybe there’s more going on beneath the surface. It’s just so difficult to imagine being in Wesley’s family's shoes, waiting for answers for so long. I truly hope more light gets shed on this case soon.

I’ve been following Wesley West’s case for quite some time now, and I’m struck by how this act of violence disrupted a community and a young life with so much potential. It’s always so unsettling thinking about how these incidents happen in what are supposed to be safe, residential areas. I really hope the officials at MPD can find a breakthrough soon. It's terrifying to think the culprit might still be roaming around freely. My heart goes out to Wesley’s family and friends. I can't imagine the pain of waking up every day without answers or closure for their loved one’s senseless murder. Also, I've heard that sometimes leads can come from the most unexpected places or people who might not even realize what they saw or heard. For anyone living in the area at the time, even the tiniest detail might be crucial. Really hoping that someone can come forward with information that might seem small but could end up making all the difference. Let’s keep Wesley’s memory alive and help get justice for him and his family.

I was reading up on Wesley West's case and couldn't help but feel for his family and friends having to live with such an open-ended tragedy. What really struck me was the location of the shooting. A residential area, late at night—I can't imagine what the neighbors must have felt, waking up to police sirens and the realization that something this horrific happened so close to home. It could have easily been any of them in harm's way. It's frustrating that despite all the efforts, there haven't been any arrests yet. The potential $25,000 reward is significant, and it's heartening to see that the MPD is still encouraging people to come forward. I really hope someone knows something but just hasn't had the courage to speak up yet. We all want justice for Wesley, and any bit of information might tip the scales. If you were in the area on that night or know someone who was, even the smallest detail might help. It's never too late to bring some peace to this grieving family.
