I can't stop thinking about the community loss with Jermaine's case. It just feels so senseless that such a young life was cut short. I’ve been reading about how officers Johnson and O’Bannon are doing their best, but without suspects or clear leads, it must be incredibly tough for them and deeply frustrating for Jermaine’s loved ones. I wonder if there's been any progress with community outreach. It seems like someone must have seen something or heard something on Quarles Street that day. I sincerely hope people come forward. Offering a $25,000 reward is significant — could it be increased to encourage more tips? Often, it's the people in the community who hold the missing piece of the puzzle in cases like this. If anyone has information, no matter how small, please contact the detectives. Jermaine and his family deserve answers and justice. Sending all my thoughts to his family in this incredibly difficult time.
