Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about MyAngelo Starnes’ case and something that really struck me was how the police relied on an electronic gunshot detection system to get alerted to the incident. It’s both fascinating and troubling that tech like this is necessary to help address the issues of gun violence in urban areas.
This makes me wonder how much we’ve become reliant on these systems and whether they’re enough to really make a difference in preventing tragedies like MyAngelo’s murder. It’s one thing to detect gunshots after they’ve happened, but it breaks my heart that such a system couldn’t prevent his life from being taken too soon.
For all the grief his family and friends must be going through, I can only hope this technology can somehow aid in finding justice for him. Are there any other cases you guys know of where such systems have been instrumental in solving or preventing crimes? Would love to hear your thoughts on the impact technology has in these situations.
Let’s keep hoping for answers and justice for MyAngelo.
Stay safe,

Did anyone else hear about MyAngelo Starnes' case? It's such a tragic situation, especially since he was so young and had a whole life ahead of him. I was looking into the area where it happened on Pomeroy Road, and it seems like a pretty tight-knit community. I can’t even imagine how his family and friends at Ballou High School must be feeling, having to face this loss without any closure yet. It's concerning that no suspects have been identified so far. I'm hoping that someone with information will come forward soon. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on the investigation, or if there are any community efforts to support his family?
