I’ve been following Anthony Smith’s case closely and keep thinking about the neighborhood where this tragic event took place. It must be so hard for the residents to deal with such violence in their community. Anthony was taken too soon, and it affects everyone, not just his family and friends. I know the MPD is working hard, but I can’t help but wonder if increased community involvement might help. Sometimes people are scared to speak up or think their tip won’t matter. We need to reassure them that any small detail can be crucial. Hoping for peace and closure for Anthony’s loved ones.
