Hey everyone, Just reading about Derek Jeffrey Taylor's case again, and I keep thinking about how tough this is on his family and friends. It’s so difficult to imagine losing someone so suddenly, and in such a senseless way. I was wondering if anyone knew more about the neighborhood around the 500 block of Newcomb Street? It might help us understand if this was a targeted incident or if there’s been any similar activity around that area before. The fact that two others were injured alongside Derek makes me think this could have been something random or maybe a horrible escalation of something else. It's just so frustrating that there aren't more details available yet, and my thoughts are definitely with Derek's loved ones who are still searching for answers.
