Hey everyone, I've been following the Ervin Lamont Aull case for a while, and it's a relief to see some movement with the arrests in 2018 and more recently in 2024. However, I’ve been curious about the role of community tips in cases like this. It makes me think about how crucial it is for local communities to feel safe and supported enough to come forward with information. Living so close to where the incident happened, I know the area was on edge for quite some time. It's a tight-knit community in many ways, and this tragedy hit people hard. I remember seeing the "Justice for Ervin" posters—his family clearly loved him and wanted answers. How does everyone feel about the balance between encouraging public involvement without fostering fear or retaliation? Are there ways we, as a community, can better support each other and contribute to ongoing investigations? It breaks my heart that Ervin's loved ones had to live with uncertainty for so long, and I hope they feel some sense of progress now. Thoughts? Stay safe, everyone.
