I can't stop thinking about that surveillance camera above the unit where Dominique was found. It feels like such a missed opportunity. Technology like this should be working to help prevent crimes or at least catch the culprits quickly. Imagine the difference it might have made if the camera had been operational. Could it have shown what happened to him or captured any faces? It must be so frustrating for Dominique's family to know that there could have been more evidence to work with. My heart truly goes out to them in this extremely difficult time. It's a reminder for authorities about the importance of keeping such systems in check, especially in vulnerable areas. I hope we can learn something from this to help protect others in the future.
