I've been thinking a lot about Jaime's mother and the incredible strength she's shown through all of this. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and trauma she's endured both physically and emotionally, losing her son and suffering such horrific injuries herself. It’s hard to wrap my mind around how someone could survive being shot seven times, yet she did, and she's become a symbol of resilience for many in the community. What breaks my heart is knowing that she still hasn't received the answers or justice she so desperately deserves for both herself and Jaime. I’ve seen various news reports and social media posts about fundraisers and community events being held to support her, which is incredible. It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of community solidarity and how we need to support each other. I hope these events not only provide her with the financial help she needs but also the emotional support to someday find peace. If anyone has info or any ideas on how else we can help, don’t hesitate to share. Let’s keep spreading awareness—justice for Jaime and Wilfredo is long overdue.
