Hey everyone, It's been over a year since DeJohn Evans was tragically taken from us, and I still can't believe that justice hasn't been served. What really stands out to me is how quickly life can change—one moment you're just living your life, and the next, it's forever altered. My thoughts are continually with DeJohn's family; I can't imagine what they're going through. Something that's been bugging me about this case is the initial mix-up with DeJohn's name. You'd think that with today's technology, such errors wouldn't happen, especially in such sensitive circumstances. I wonder if this oversight might have impacted the early stages of the investigation. Any investigative delay, no matter how minor, could potentially affect the outcome. The community deserves answers, and more importantly, DeJohn and his family deserve justice. It's also frustrating that no suspect details have been released. Someone, somewhere knows something that could lead to a breakthrough. I've seen cases take remarkable turns with just a small clue, so I'm holding out hope that someone comes forward soon. If anyone has heard anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Stay safe, everyone. Hoping for better days and justice for DeJohn. —SarahJ1289
