Has anyone heard if there have been any updates on the search for Elaine Jaramillo-Vigil? I was wondering about the use of drones in these searches. I read that they used drones along with search teams and dogs, but I'm curious about how effective they've been in other cases? Given the wide-open landscapes around San Rafael, would drones have any advantage in spotting something or finding clues that might be missed from the ground? It seems like covering a three-mile radius would be quite the task even with some tech assistance! Also, for those familiar with the area, are there any particular challenges in conducting a search around San Rafael that might not be obvious to outsiders?

Has anyone else been following Elaine Jaramillo-Vigil's case closely? I've been thinking a lot about the choice of search radius the authorities have used. Covering just a three-mile radius seems a bit limited, don't you think, especially considering the time that's passed since she was last seen? I understand starting close to home, her ex-husband's place, and her son's house makes sense, but in a rural area like San Rafael, it feels like she could have traveled farther afield by now. Without any signs of foul play, she might have left of her own accord or simply gotten lost. Maybe we should be looking into any places she frequented outside this radius? I'm curious if law enforcement will eventually expand their search efforts beyond this parameter. Any thoughts on this aspect of the search strategy?
