Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Clifton Smith's murder in the Shaw neighborhood? It's so unsettling to hear about violence that close to a place like the Howard Theatre, which is usually a spot for joy and culture. I can't stop thinking about the witnesses who might have been around that night. There must have been folks leaving the theatre or nearby restaurants who saw or heard something. I'm really hoping that someone from the community steps forward with more information about that silver Nissan Infiniti. It's so crucial that we help the Metropolitan Police Department with whatever details we can remember, no matter how insignificant they might seem. My thoughts are with Clifton's family and also the woman who was injured. Wishing her a swift recovery. Let's all stay vigilant and support each other in these difficult times.
