I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Nikiesha Thomas had on her community. It’s truly devastating to know that someone who dedicated her life to helping underprivileged children with developmental disabilities is no longer with us. It seems like she had such a caring spirit and was someone who truly made a difference in the lives of so many kids and their families. I can’t imagine how difficult this is for those families who relied on her support and kindness. It’s a real void not just for her loved ones but for the entire community. I hope that in some way, the dedication and compassion she showed will continue to inspire others to carry on her work. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.
