Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about that sorrowful day when Pamela Thomas was caught in the crossfire. I can’t even begin to fathom how her family must be feeling, especially young Rufus. What really gets to me is the randomness of it all—they were just on their way to celebrate a birthday. The irony is so sharp it’s painful.
Reading about how the community has rallied with vigils and gatherings, it warms my heart a little, knowing there is a strong sense of unity and empathy during such dark times. It's admirable to see people coming together to not only mourn but also keep Pamela’s memory alive and push for justice.
I'm hoping against hope that with Dion Lee’s arrest, justice will be served, and the family can find some semblance of closure. Does anyone in the community have updates on any further actions being taken to prevent violence in this area? It’s crucial that we keep the dialogue going so that no other family has to go through this nightmare.

I’ve been following Pamela Thomas's case closely and can't stop thinking about her young son, Rufus. It’s unimaginable how moments that should be filled with joy, like going to a birthday party, can suddenly turn into tragedy. This little boy lost his mom in such a traumatic way, and at such a tender age, he has to carry this burden. I really hope the community rallies to provide him and his family with the support and love they need during this extremely difficult time.
Does anyone know if there are any ongoing support efforts or funds set up for Rufus and his family? It's important that we not only push for justice but also provide practical help for those left to pick up the pieces.
