I've been following the case of William Venison since it happened last year, and it just breaks me to think about his family still searching for answers. I walk around the area sometimes, and it's such a vibrant community — thinking that something so tragic could happen there is still hard to wrap my head around. I read that no suspects have been identified, and it makes me wonder if there was any CCTV footage from nearby businesses that might have caught something useful. If anyone living around Gainesville Street has footage from that day, even if it’s from a dashcam or door camera, it might help. It's frustrating to think that this incident remains unsolved after all this time. I hope the police can get more leads soon. My thoughts go out to William's friends and family as they endure this painful process. It's clear that the community wants to see justice served, and I’m hopeful that someone will come forward with information.
