I've been following the discussions on the Albertsons massacre in Las Vegas, and I can't stop thinking about the bravery of Zachary Emenegger. It's mind-blowing how, even after being shot twice, he had the presence of mind to play dead. The fear and pain he must have felt in that moment are unimaginable, yet he used his instinct and quick thinking to survive. It’s a testament to the human will to live against all odds. I hope he's found some measure of peace and healing over the years. Anyone know if he’s ever spoken publicly about that day since the trial? It would be incredibly hard to relive, but his perspective could be so powerful. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and all the families affected.
