I've been thinking a lot about the impact on the surviving siblings in cases like Israel Carrillo's. It's truly hard to imagine the trauma they must be enduring. They've lost not only their brother but in a sense, their mother too. They'll carry this incident with them for the rest of their lives, and I hope they're getting all the necessary support and counseling. Children shouldn't have to experience such things, and my heart goes out to them and the extended family. Hopefully, the community rallies around them, offering love and stability during such an unimaginably difficult time. Does anyone know if there are any local support groups or charities helping children affected by such tragedies in the Las Vegas area?
