I just came across this case, and it really hit me hard. I can't stop thinking about how senseless this was. I went to college with Cory Childers, and it's still difficult to wrap my head around the fact that he's gone. We weren’t close friends, but we had some classes together, and he'd always be the first to crack a joke when things were tense. Everyone knew him as someone who could light up a room with his energy. It's just so cruel that his life was cut short over something so tragic. I can't imagine what Ashley and the rest of their family must be going through. I know it's been a while since the incident, but if anyone else remembers him from ITT Tech or worked with him at Nacho Daddy, I'd love to hear your stories. Maybe it would help his family and others who knew him to see how much of an impact he had on everyone he encountered.
